Outdoor brand Kathmandu launches In the UK and Europe
Kathmandu, Australia and New Zealand’s number one outdoor brand is stepping onto the international stage this month, as it launches in the UK and European markets (including Ireland).
The announcement was made at Paris Fashion Week as Kathmandu, known for innovation in technical design and sustainability, partnered with renowned experiential retailer LECLAIREUR for the unveiling of its Autumn Winter 2022 collection. The range is available to the UK and European market online (UK, France and Germany) and with select retail partners.
Commenting on the launch, Global Chief Customer Officer for Kathmandu, Eva Barrett said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Kathmandu is now available in the UK and Europe. We’re Australia and New Zealand’s favourite outdoor brand, and we look forward to seeing local outdoor enthusiasts, discover our innovative and sustainable gear.”
The launch at LECLAIREUR led with the award-winning NXT-Level jacket, with President KMD Brands Europe Mathieu Lefin commenting; “The NXT-Level jacket is not only a great innovation, its beautifully designed and hard-wearing. We’re excited to bring this to the region and are proud to launch it with our partner LECLAIREUR.”
The jacket represents the latest in Kathmandu’s longstanding commitment to sustainable innovation and manufacturing. It is only one of the many solutions the brand is using to combat the growing challenge of apparel waste.
