GRAYL Launches The Carry Project:

Modular, Overbuilt Packs, Crafted for the Harshest Conditions

GRAYL®, a leader in portable water purification and utilitarian design, expands into carry solutions with The Carry Project. This is a collection of meticulously engineered packs and bags built for the demands of everyday carry. It’s also designed for travel and off-grid adventure. Designed for adaptability, the complete range is now available in the UK. The collection features a modular pack system. This system gives users the flexibility to carry exactly what they need, when they need it. No wasted space, no compromises.

From backpacks to hip packs, bottle carriers to totes, every product in The Carry Project is built to withstand relentless use. Moreover, it doesn’t sacrifice comfort or function. Crafted with 100% recycled Bluesign® approved fabrics, it includes premium hardware like YKK Aquaguard® zippers. The collection offers intuitive organization with an abundance of pockets. It also offers full-length dual-zippered access and seamless integration with GRAYL’s G-Mod Pouch System. Built-in hook-and-loop panels and mil-spec MOLLE attachments allow for customised loadouts. This ensures each user’s setup is tailored to their unique gear and lifestyle.

“We built The Carry Project for our core customers – some of the most interesting, widely travelled people in the world,” said GRAYL Co-Founder Travis Merrigan. “With their adventurous lifestyle in mind, we cut no corners. We sourced the highest quality materials and put our passion into creating utilitarian packs designed for daily use and adventure.

These are not just stashed in a gear closet for one big trip a year. We built these packs to adapt, organise, and endure, just like the people who carry them.” Self-sufficiency starts with staying hydrated. Every pack in The Carry Project is built with that in mind.

Designed to accommodate hydration bladders and GRAYL’s GeoPress® purifier bottles, they also fit any 32-40 fluid ounce bottle. These packs ensure adventurers can carry and access water with ease. Expanse BottleDrop™ pockets flex to securely hold large bottles when needed. They tuck away neatly when not in use.

The patent-pending BottleLock® non-slip tie-down system adds even greater versatility. It provides a stable, low-centre-of-gravity carry for bottles. Additionally, it doubles as a secure spot for stashing a jacket, compact tent, or tripod.
