Kelty’s Backroads Shelter creates a covered, floorless space for vehicle-based outings. The tarp structure provides a communal area for taking a break, organising equipment or gathering beside a camping setup.
Quick Corners assist with assembly, and secondary roof-rack straps provide an attachment option. Fibreglass poles support the shelter, which packs into a Shark Mouth duffel for transport.
Twist Distribution lists a packed weight of 5.25kg, with polyester tarp fabric carrying a 1200mm specification. The published peak-height range is 203–274cm. As an open shelter rather than a sleeping tent, the Backroads is aimed at campers who want an additional protected space around their vehicle.
