Montane to match-fund charity donations in support of Green Friday

Montane has announced that from November 24-27 2023, it will match fund any donations made by the Montane community to its brand partner, Fix the Fells, over the traditional ‘Black Friday’ weekend in further support of the Green Friday movement.

In addition to the brand’s pledge to donate its Black Friday campaign budget to Fix the Fells, the brand will also match any donations up to £5,000 that are made by customers through the dedicated donation point at the online checkout on montane.com. Since the launch of the online donation point in September 2023, the brand has raised over £1,000 for the charity, with this recent initiative designed to further promote the cause.

On finalising their purchase, customers can choose to add a donation at the checkout to help care for the Lake District’s mountain paths and landscapes, protecting the Lakeland fells from erosion by repairing and maintaining over 344 upland paths across a 410-mile stretch.
