Keela make ‘Black Friday’ brighter
Keela is once again running its ‘Bright Friday’ initiative, which sees the brand donate 15% of all its website sales over the period of 17th-27th November 2023 to children’s charity, Cash For Kids.
This year marks the fifth consecutive year that the brand has partnered with the charity, foregoing heavy website discounting in favour of donating to the national charity which works to improve the lives of disadvantaged children who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or have additional needs. Every year over the festive period, Cash for Kids launches ‘Mission Christmas’, which aims to provide children with a present to open on Christmas Day, that would otherwise go without.
Speaking on the news, Keela Sales Director, Sam Fernando said: “Traditionally Christmas is a time for giving. Following on from the positive feedback from previous Bright Friday events, we have decided instead of offering heavy discounts on our products for Black Friday, we will instead make a donation from the sales generated on keelaoutdoors.com over this period. In the current climate, we know that charities need as much support as possible and we are happy to be doing our little bit.”
The move comes as a further display of Keela’s commitment to equality and supporting those in need, building on its ongoing relationship with Cash For Kids, as well as earlier this year committing to donating a percentage of the proceeds raised from its recently unveiled Bahookie Changing Robe to The Ootsider Charity, which works to tackle rough sleeping across Scotland.
