Columbia Unveils FW26 Titanium Hike Collection, Engineered for the Toughest Conditions

Columbia has launched its FW26 Titanium Hike collection, delivering its pinnacle outdoor performance system.
Bringing together Columbia‘s most advanced waterproof technologies, next-generation thermal innovation, premium insulation, and performance layering pieces, the range offers a complete system designed to keep hikers exploring through the cool days of autumn through to the harshest conditions of winter.
Hero products and technologies from the collection include:
Saudan Pro™ 3L Shell: Representing Columbia’s premium waterproof solution (30,000/30,000), the jacket combines fully seam-sealed, three-layer construction with exceptional breathability and durability. Designed for demanding hiking conditions, it balances maximum weather protection with the airflow needed during high-output pursuits, ensuring comfort across changing terrain and weather.
Whistler Peak™ Shell and Whistler Peak™ Pant: Showcasing Columbia’s innovative OutDry™ Extreme technology, these pieces offer a different approach to waterproof protection. Unlike traditional waterproof constructions, OutDry™ Extreme places the waterproof membrane on the exterior of the garment, creating a barrier against rain, snow, wet vegetation and prolonged exposure to moisture.
Omni-Heat™ Arctic technology: Columbia’s most advanced thermal innovation for cold-weather hiking, designed to deliver exceptional warmth while maintaining breathability and mobility. The technology features across active midlayers, such as the Arctic Crest™ II Hybrid, and premium insulation pieces throughout the range.
Endevour Mountain™ Down Jacket: New for FW26, this jacket is designed for hikers who demand maximum thermal efficiency without sacrificing mobility, packability or layering versatility. It provides a powerful insulation layer for a wide range of autumn and winter conditions.
The Titanium Hike collection has been designed as a complete system for the longest season, so that hikers can get outdoors, no matter the challenges autumn and winter bring.
Staying safe on the trails this winter
For anyone planning a solo trip out into the wilderness this season, Columbia Hike Society Leader, Natalie Hawk, has shared her key tips for staying safe and maximising your experience on the trails this winter:
“Solo hiking is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while doing something for yourself and your mental health. The key to making the experience enjoyable is preparation. Planning your route in advance will help you feel more confident and allow you to enjoy the trail.
Three tips I always recommend are:
1. Sharing your route, estimated finish time and live location with a friend or family member before setting off.
2. Make sure you have downloaded an offline map on the off chance you lose phone service.
3. Always bring a power bank with you to make sure your phone is fully charged.
Doing all of these will help provide peace of mind that you can confidentially go hiking and be ready for any scenario that may come up.”
