Vango has highlighted its Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Recommended Expedition Kit, covering tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, rucksacks, stoves and accessories.

The sleeping-bag range has been developed in partnership with DofE leaders, with an emphasis on warmth, comfort, durability and packability. Recommended sleeping mats provide insulation from the ground and are designed to work alongside a sleeping bag.
The brand’s recommended trekking rucksacks feature adjustable back systems for a personalised fit, supporting participants carrying equipment on expedition.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is open to young people aged 14–24. Vango’s update states that more than 324,000 young people started their DofE journey in 2024/25, while participants contributed more than 5.2 million hours of volunteering.
