Backed by over a century of boot-making expertise, the Cevedale Pro GTX Mid’s new design is lighter, more flexible and more comfortable than ever, yet offers the legendary stability and protection its predecessor was renowned for. Optimised for winter climbing, it is compatible with a semi-automatic crampon and features a durable upper constructed from fabric and suede, reinforced with a hybrid rubber rand for excellent resistance against abrasion. The ankle cuff has been redesigned with improved dorsal flex offering greater comfort straight from the box and during long winter approach walk-ins. The cuff is further enhanced with a new neoprene-style, stretch gaiter which minimises the ingress of snow and rocks. A Gore-Tex More Seasons membrane offers durably waterproof protection as snow and slush coat the mountain-tops – making the Cevedale Pro an ideal choice for Scottish conditions. 

Achieving a secure and comfortable fit is simple, even when wearing gloves, thanks to the Cevedale’s new and improved 2-Zone lacing with I-Lock Hook for easy adjustment and two independent lacing zones. A redesigned soft cuff tongue is combined with down-to-the-toe lacing to enable a precise fit and the boot also features X-Lacing^® Light system. This lighter version of LOWA’s patented technology holds the tongue in place both vertically and horizontally, preventing slippage and reducing pressure points or blisters. The X-Lacing^® system also ensures that the pressure of the laces is transferred not just to the hooks but to the tongue as well.

Constructed with a broader fit that offers levels of comfort not often found in a technical boot, the Cevedale Pro GTX Mid is fully resoleable meaning it will be a reliable partner on mountain adventures for many years to come. This high-spec model is finished with a proven Vibram^® Scalatore Evo outsole. Combining a reinforced, TPU crampon mount for all-day crampon security with a climbing zone for greater traction on rock, you will feel confident underfoot whatever the terrain.
