Montane Secret Sessions sell out in record-breaking time ahead of Kendal Mountain Festival

British outdoor clothing brand, Montane, has sold out 240 tickets to its renowned ‘Secret Sessions’ events at this year’s Kendal Mountain Festival in record time.

The event is running over the weekend of 17th – 20th November and will see Montane in attendance, building upon its existing relationship with the festival as a major partner of the event.

Montane’s Secret Sessions feature a mystery speaker at a mystery location, in what are one-of-a-kind events never to repeated over the course of the weekend, with participants guided to a secret venue ahead of the session. Offering insight and expert comment, the sessions typically last around 90 minutes and sell out every year.

The weekend will also see a series of film premieres by Montane, with ‘SOLO’ by Montane athlete Jenny Tough showcasing Jenny’s journey running across the mountain ranges on six continents, before hosting a discussion on her latest book, also titled ‘SOLO’. Further film premieres come in the form of ‘Britain’s Most Brutal Race’ which celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the Montane Spice Race, the ‘Climb Red’ and ‘Climb Blue’ films which includes a range of climbing stories from a variety of athletes, as well as a look back at some of the standout ‘Women in Adventure’ films submitted over the last eight years.

Further highlights from the weekend include Montane athlete Katy Parrott, as well as ‘The Last Ride’ project by ex-competitive skiers Ed Salisbury, Will Tucker and award-winning filmmaker Jon Moy, presenting at Basecamp, a social hub where brands bring their stories to life through a series of talks. In addition, Montane will also be showcasing its new range of AW22 clothing, as well as providing the opportunity to meet some of the brand’s team, ambassadors, and athletes, and offering the opportunity to take part in an exclusive competition.

Speaking on the news, Montane’s Global Marketing Manager, Matthew Hickman, commented: “The Montane Secret Sessions have fast become a staple of what is one of the standout and most exciting and diverse festivals in the calendar, providing a one-time-only, truly unique experience, and the record-breaking sales this year only further reiterates the ever-growing appetite for them. On a larger scale, the festival will provide the perfect platform to showcase Montane’s multifaceted and multi active offerings, from ultra-running, to mountaineering, to ski touring and much more, via a range of informative, engaging, and interactive sessions and events which we are seeing an increased demand for with each passing year.”
