Berghaus opens regional showroom in Cumbria

Berghaus has boosted its support for specialist outdoor retail customers, with the opening of a dedicated showroom in Cumbria. Located in Staveley, north of Kendal, the new base will be used to present the brand’s latest collections of outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, and as a convenient venue for a range of meetings.

The new Berghaus showroom is situated in Staveley Mill Yard, a popular hub for leading outdoor and sports brands. With floor space of around 50sqm, there is plenty of room to display key styles from the company’s latest seasonal ranges. The Berghaus sales team will use the showroom to arrange appointments with specialist customers in Northern England and the Midlands, and it will be available for other departments, such as product development and marketing.

Berghaus UK field sales manager, Kris Gray, said: “We’re delighted to open a showroom in such a fitting location. Berghaus is deeply rooted in walking and climbing, and Cumbria is where many of our products are put to the test. Staveley will be a great base for meeting many of our existing customers, and also for developing new contacts, and it is particularly handy for those in North West England. Opening the showroom now is perfect timing for us. We’ve got a lot of exciting new products in the pipeline in our core performance ranges like Trail and Extrem, and our sales team is relishing the opportunity to present them to specialist outdoor retailers.”
