The Coleman Darwin 2+ BlackOut brings the brand’s light-blocking bedroom fabric to a compact two-person dome tent, aimed at touring campers and festival visitors.
Coleman says its BlackOut Bedroom technology blocks up to 99% of daylight from the sleeping area. The design addresses early daylight at the campsite, giving the bedroom a different character from a conventional bright inner tent.
The peaked porch provides a separate place for muddy boots and wet equipment. That storage area is a useful distinction for customers choosing a smaller tent but still wanting to keep kit outside the main sleeping space.
Fibreglass poles support the dome structure. Coleman lists an inner-first setup, a carry bag and mesh ventilation, along with taped seams and a 4,500mm water-column specification.
The official product details give a packed size of 58 x 19 x 19cm and a listed weight of 5kg. These figures help place it within a car-camping or festival setup rather than an ultralight backpacking kit.
For retailers, the product story combines two-person accommodation, a darker bedroom and a dedicated porch. Demonstrating the sleeping area and storage zone gives customers a clear understanding of the layout.
