Arc’teryx opens first brand store in Manchester

Arc’teryx, the global design company specializing in technical high- performance outerwear and equipment, opens its first brand store in Manchester located at 6 New Cathedral Street. The store’s opening on July 10th, 2025, is an important milestone in the brand’s continued expansion in Europe.
The new Manchester store is just 25 miles from the Peak District National Park, home to the gritstone climbs that helped shape trad climbing in the UK. Spanning 567 square metres across 2 floors, the store offers an immersive experience, featuring Arc’teryx’s core assortment, including Trail and Climb gear, with Snow gear to follow.
A carefully curated selection of footwear, packs, and accessories— designed with the brand’s commitment to performance in the most demanding environments—is available, along with Arc’teryx harnesses which can be tried out in-store.

As part of the brand’s circular initiatives, the ReBIRD™ Service Centre will offer free gear repair, care, and washing services, ensuring your equipment stays in peak condition season after season. This is just one part of the brand’s commitment to circularity and sustainability – reducing the impact of every item through “keeping gear in play”.
The new store features a dedicated Community Area designed for events, movie nights, and gatherings — an extension of Arc’teryx’s commitment to fostering a vibrant outdoor culture.
The area will also feature a Local Map, highlighting the best spots for climbing, hiking and trail running in and around Manchester. Visitors can expect insights from UK athletes and local Ambassadors, sharing their favourite places.
