ISPO 2026 will bring the international sports, outdoor and winter sports industries to Amsterdam from 3–5 November, as the event moves from its long-standing home in Munich to RAI Amsterdam for the first time.
The move marks a new chapter for one of the sports industry’s best-known trade events, bringing ISPO to a major international business and transport hub. RAI Amsterdam’s proximity to Schiphol Airport also offers convenient connectivity for visitors travelling from across Europe and further afield.
With more than 900 exhibitors confirmed, more than 500 key buyers registered and more than 40 industry and media partnerships in place, ISPO 2026 will bring together brands, retailers, manufacturers, innovators and industry leaders from across the sports and outdoor value chain.
The new edition will combine commercial opportunities and networking with product discovery, industry insight, innovation and a programme of interactive experiences designed to explore the trends and challenges shaping the future of sport.
Putting commercial connections at the centre
A major focus for ISPO 2026 will be its €1 million Hosted Buyer Programme, designed to connect senior retail decision-makers, selected distributors and brand innovation leaders with the global brands and suppliers shaping the market.
Among the brands represented on the show floor are established names including Fabletics and Karrimor alongside a broad mix of international and emerging businesses.
Major retailers already engaged with the event include Decathlon, INTERSPORT, JD Group, GO Outdoors, Mountain Warehouse and Ellis Brigham, alongside Sport 2000 Group International and other international retail businesses.
The programme is designed to create more opportunities for face-to-face meetings between brands and the people making purchasing, distribution and partnership decisions, while giving retailers the opportunity to discover new products, emerging businesses and innovations that could influence future buying decisions.
A broader programme of innovation and insight
Beyond the exhibition floor, ISPO 2026 will feature a programme covering retail, technology, product development, fashion, sustainability and emerging businesses.
The Brand & Retail Horizons Stage will explore the commercial forces influencing the sector and how businesses can respond to changing consumer expectations, while the Tech Solutions Hub will give brands and retailers the opportunity to explore technology and digital solutions shaping modern commerce.
The BrandNew Launchpad will provide a platform for start-ups to present new products and innovations directly to the industry, while dedicated areas will address sustainability, materials innovation, sourcing and responsible production.
The event will also feature more than 20 interactive activations across the show floor, giving visitors opportunities to experience products and sports rather than simply viewing them on stands. Highlights include the ISPO Padel Village, designed to bring the racket-sports community together through participation, product discovery and networking; Peak Reality, a climbing activation featuring a large wall with 3D modules and challenges for experienced climbers and newcomers; and ISPO interACTIVE, combining fitness sessions, live brand showcases, product demos and skills challenges.
Elsewhere, Water Lab will offer hands-on product testing in an interactive counter-current space, while The Loop will explore circularity through five practical areas – Repair, Repurpose, Reuse, Recycle and Reassess.
The Best of British comes to ISPO
The UK outdoor industry will have a strong collective presence through the launch of the OTS Village, bringing together 11 leading British outdoor brands under a Best of British banner.
The initiative is a collaboration between the Outdoor Industries Association (OIA), Outdoor Trade Show (OTS), ISPO and Raccoon Media Group, extending the established OTS community into a broader international setting. The participating brands; Berghaus, Bridgedale, Craghoppers, DMM, Keela, Montane, Mountain Equipment, Rab, Sprayway, Terra Nova Equipment and Vango, represent a broad cross-section of British outdoor expertise across technical apparel, equipment and accessories.
At the centre of the Village will be an OIA and OTS area providing a dedicated space for meetings, networking and collaboration, while promoting the participating brands and the wider British outdoor industry.
For the brands involved, the collective presence provides an opportunity to showcase British outdoor expertise, develop new commercial and distribution relationships and explore opportunities across European and international markets.
A wider platform for the industry
The event will also be co-located with The International Running Expo (IRX), bringing the running sector’s brands, buyers and decision-makers into the wider ISPO ecosystem. As Europe’s dedicated business event for running, IRX will provide an additional platform
for the sector to discover new products, build relationships and explore the trends shaping the future of running.
The ISPO Leaders Summit, taking place on 3 November, will provide a dedicated C-suite forum bringing together senior executives, policymakers and industry leaders from across sport, outdoor and winter sports.
The speaker line-up includes Olympic champion Allyson Felix, filmmaker and mountaineer Jimmy Chin, Hap Klopp, founder of The North Face, Professor Laura McAllister, Andy Rubin, Deputy Chair of Pentland Group, and Pia Heidenmark Cook, former Group Chief Sustainability Officer at Ingka/IKEA.
The programme will address some of the wider issues shaping the industry, including participation, sustainability and fair trade, with speakers bringing perspectives from sport, business, technology, sustainability and culture. Hap Klopp will also join Fredrik Ekstrom, founder of Above the Clouds, and Nina Hajikhanian, General Manager, EMEA at Patagonia, for a discussion exploring strategies for a changing planet from both science and business perspectives.
Meanwhile, Augustus Doricko, founder and CEO of Rainmaker, will explore the implications of precipitation enhancement technology for the future resilience of winter sports.
A new investment in ISPO
Supporting the new format is a €3 million strategic investment from Raccoon Media Group, split across three areas: €1 million for the global Hosted Buyer Programme, €1 million for content development including the ISPO Leaders Summit, and €1 million for advocacy and initiatives supporting participation, grassroots sport and the protection of the natural environments in which people play.
Together, these initiatives reflect the ambition to develop ISPO as more than a traditional trade show, creating an environment that supports commercial growth while giving the industry a platform to address the wider issues affecting its future.
From established global brands and major retailers to emerging businesses, start-ups and specialist outdoor brands ISPO 2026 will bring together the people, products and ideas shaping the next generation of sport and outdoor.
The ISPO After Party will provide an opportunity for the industry to continue those conversations in a more informal setting, bringing attendees together for an evening of celebration and networking.
ISPO 2026 takes place at RAI Amsterdam from 3–5 November 2026, with the ISPO Leaders Summit on 3 November and ISPO Expo on 4–5 November 2026.
