Trekitt has introduced an updated Rab Microlight collection, bringing together three insulating layers for different conditions and activities.
The assortment includes the Microlight Shield Jacket, Microlight Alpine Hoody and Microlighter Pullover Hoody. The retailer says the collection builds on the original Microlight formula with updated fabrics and additional options for colder outings.
Microlight Shield Jacket
The Shield pairs a two-layer waterproof construction and lightweight 20D face fabric with a Pertex membrane. Insulation comes from 700-fill-power recycled down, with zoned stitch-through baffles.
An adjustable hood provides space for a beanie or cap. Two zipped hand pockets and a concealed zipped chest pocket provide storage, with access designed around use with a backpack or harness.
Microlight Alpine Hoody
The updated Alpine Hoody uses recycled Pertex Quantum fabric incorporating NetPlus yarn made from recycled fishing nets. It combines 700-fill-power recycled down with a fluorocarbon-free durable water-repellent finish for light water resistance.
The jacket has micro and nano stitch-through baffles, an adjustable insulated hood with a stiffened peak, a chest pocket and two hand pockets. One hand pocket doubles as a stuff sack with a clipping loop.
Microlighter Pullover Hoody
The pullover uses recycled Pertex Quantum fabric with NetPlus yarn and TXdown insulation, described in the supplied product information as a blend of recycled and synthetic material.
A fixed-sheet construction is designed to keep the insulation distributed evenly. The close-fitting hood has stretch binding, while one of the two hand pockets can be used to pack the garment away.
Men’s and women’s versions of all three models are listed in the retailer’s collection. Further details are available from Trekitt.
