Over 50 years ago, drawing from experience acquired from caving, Petzl invented the first battery-powered headlamp, giving lighting where it’s needed, when it’s needed with all the benefits of ‘hands free’ functionality.
This search for continual innovation since our first headlamp in 1973 produced the first LED powered TIKKA in 2001, reactive lighting in 2012 and our HYBRID concept allowing you to easily use either our rechargeable CORE battery or AAA’s.
As part of our ongoing product development we’re pleased to announce our new TIKKINA, TIKKA and ACTIK ranges are now available with lumen outputs of 350 lumens-625 lumens and weights between 84-92g depending on model and power source.
All headlamps in this range feature the same compact, single button, IPX4 design with a simple to adjust symmetrical headband adjustment and a pivot with a large range of movement. The light source is also exceptionally uniform across the beam pattern for better visual comfort and clarity.
TIKKA and ACTIK models are available with an included USB-C rechargeable Core battery and also offer additional features over the TIKKINA, a phosphorescent reflector makes them easy to find in the dark while a reflective headband allows you to remain visible. Red lighting keeps you from blinding those around you while the included eco-friendly storage pouch can transform your headlamp into a lantern.
All models are also compatible with the HELMET ADAPT and BIKE ADAPT 2 mounts, so you can attach the lamp to a variety of helmet types or a bicycle.
