Being in the outdoor hiking, running, cycling, or simply exploring—having the right gear can make a massive difference to your comfort, experience and enjoyment of the time your are out and about. The Montane Azote 6L Waist Pack is a great waist pack that even provides you with two great water bottle as part of the package.
They Azote 6L Waist Pack features a sleek and minimalist design with It comes in two color options, allowing users to choose according to their personal style. The pack is well made from high quality material that is lightweight but still able to deal with the rigors of outdoor use.
With a capacity of 6 liters, the Azote is designed to hold enough gear for a day out without being too large or cumbersome. The main compartment is spacious enough to accommodate essentials such as snacks, a first-aid kit, a lightweight jacket your keys (with a key hanger) . Additionally, there are several smaller pockets, including a zippered front pocket i will use it in a couple if walks and it replaced my day sack. Also it is now my go to bag for mountain biking and the way forward for this, giving you a place to carry all you need for a day but it doesn’t get in your way when biking.
One of the critical aspects of any waist pack is how it feels during use. The Azote features an adjustable belt that allows for a customized fit, catering to various waist sizes. The breathable mesh lining on the back provides added comfort and stopped any overheating during longer days biking.
One of the standout features of the Azote 6L is its water bottle compatibility. The pack includes two side pockets designed to securely hold water bottles and come with two 500ml water bottle provided. You can use other bottles if you watch but we really liked the ones provided. Although i used them a lot to carry food when running or biking. (So sorry didn’t get a picture with the bottles in use)
As well as the side pockets, the Azote comes with various attachment points for gear, such as trekking poles we did not use this option but it is good to have it there if you need it.
Pros:
- Lightweight and Compact.
- Versatile Storage.
- Comfortable Fit.
- Hydration Ready.
- Easy to use as a replace for a day sack.
Cons:
Could not really find any. OK if you carry more kit is not big enough but you would not use this as a replacement for 20l backpack. Waterproofing could be a issue. Or put you gear in a dry bag inside and this is now not a issue.
Over it i cannot fault it in anyway. It does exactly what it is designed for. Is very comfortable well priced and well made. I am getting boring here but i now use my day walking, hiking or MTB. Top work Montane.
