Lowe Alpine updates popular AirZone Trail hiking pack range

British backpack specialist Lowe Alpine (owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies Ltd.) has updated their popular AirZone Trail range for Spring/Summer 2023.

While keeping the iconic features of the highly successful AirZone carry system, the eight packs for men and women feature a new carry system that creates superior ventilation, breathability and comfort. The packs, designed for hiking and all-mountain adventures, are now available to consumers.

Based on extensive lab and field testing, the new packs have undergone a comprehensive update, resulting in even greater comfort accompanied by a fresh design. The AirZone carry system’s new convection channel allows heat and warm air to escape out of the top. A vent hole between the user’s shoulders encourages heat dissipation, improving air flow, reducing heat build-up and keeping the back panel cooler than older models. Furthermore, reducing the harness’ contact area by 10% helps keep the user comfortable. A new harness foam and construction provide outstanding support and long-term performance from the first outing through a lifetime of adventures.

The new AirZone Trail packs feature a 50% recycled nylon body fabric and a polyester lining fabric. All AirZone Trail packs are fluorocarbon free.
