Keela Outdoors and Polygiene launch ‘Stay Fresh’ collection

Scottish outdoor clothing brand, Keela Outdoors, has partnered with the international fabric specialist Polygiene to launch its new ‘Stay Fresh’ collection – helping to protect against bacteria and reducing the environmental impact of its garments.
‘Stay Fresh’, from the Swedish-based Polygiene, is a treatment preventing bacteria from multiplying, and stopping any odour or sweat at the source – helping garments to remain fresh.
The treatment also has a significant environmental impact, needing fewer washes and using materials that last longer. This means fewer textiles being used, reduced CO2 and microplastics, and saving on energy and water.
Keela’s entire Trail collection will use the ‘Stay Fresh’ treatment, forming a key part of their ongoing commitment to minimising its environmental impact.
Sam Fernando, Sales Director for Keela, said: “We’re delighted to be working again with the Polygiene team to launch our new ‘Stay Fresh’ collection.
“We’re always looking to utilise innovative technologies to ensure everything we produce is going to be long-lasting. ‘Stay Fresh’ is another big step towards us being able to achieve our goal of producing kit with minimal environmental impact.”
