Join The Director’s Cut for this year’s HIKE BIKE PADDLE

Do you believe in leading by example? Are you up for a challenge? We have a unique opportunity for 4 Directors, Chief Executives or Senior Managers to join the ‘Director’s Cut Team’ in this year’s HIKE BIKE PADDLE, the ultimate challenge event for people working in the outdoors and sports industries.

Join the Youth Adventure Trust’s Chief Executive, Mark Davey, and Chairman, Pete Redfern, on Thursday 15th September in the Yorkshire Dales.  Go head-to-head with brands including Les Mills, Technogym, Red Bull and O’Neill as you take on a 15km hike over the dales and up Simon’s Seat, a 40km off and on road bike section and finish off with a giant SUP across the reservoir, powered by Red Paddle Co. Great networking, awesome content, epic personal challenge, spectacular views, friendly competition, all for a charity that helps vulnerable youngsters with very limited opportunities get outdoors.

Mark Davey, CEO of the Youth Adventure Trust, said: “Joining the Director’s Cut team is a great way to experience the event if your brand doesn’t have a big enough team to enter or if you want to try out the HIKE BIKE PADDLE before committing to your own team in 2023. It’s also a chance to remind your colleagues of the importance of getting outdoors for better mental health and wellbeing, network with others in the sector and position your brand as one which genuinely believes in the ‘power of the outdoors’.”

Andrew Denton, Chief Executive of the Outdoor Industries Association, said: “Hike Bike Paddle is a perfect opportunity for people working in the outdoor sector to get away from their desks and spend some time outside to create an outdoor legacy for those who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to benefit from the outdoors.”

Dan Macaulay, MD and Founder of Brandwave Marketing describes it as “one of the best events I’ve ever taken part in. Great networking, team bonding, content AND all for a great cause!”

Teams will be fundraising for children’s charity Youth Adventure Trust, which uses outdoor adventure to help vulnerable young people build resilience, develop confidence and learn the skills they need to face the challenges in their lives.
