Whitby & Co extends specialist offer with Petromax and Feuerhand
Outdoor, camping and bushcraft specialist Whitby & Co has agreed a partnership to distribute two leading German brands to UK and Ireland trade customers.
The Petromax Group makes high quality outdoor cooking and lighting products for the camping, bushcraft and home markets, by Petromax and Feuerhand. Starting immediately, Whitby & Co is selling a wide range of Petromax and Feuerhand lines to specialist UK trade customers, alongside other brands in its portfolio, including Leatherman, Klean Kanteen, Princeton Tec, Buck, Opinel, Selk’bag, Vapur, UST, Zippo, and its own Whitby products.
With a history that goes back over a century, the Petromax Group is one of the leading German manufacturers of cooking and lighting equipment for the outdoors. The company is renowned for making high quality, durable and cleverly designed products for a wide range of situations, from BBQs at home, to camping and van life, and bushcraft trips into the wild.
The Petromax brand has its origins in a high pressure petroleum lamp that was first developed in 1910, and is renowned for making extremely robust, efficient and versatile outdoor cooking and lighting products. The Petromax Group also owns the Feuerhand brand of lanterns and fire bowls and barrels. The group has its headquarters in Magdeburg, employing more than 100 staff and operating in over 40 countries.
