Kendal Mountain Festival opens its doors for the first time in two years.

Next month the mountain and outdoor world comes together once again, as Kendal Mountain Festival opens its doors for the first time in two years. The organisers report strong demand for tickets with some events already sold out, and with many new and exciting developments – including a re-sited and re-vamped Basecamp location – it’s looking like a huge reunion party is on the cards.
The success of last year’s digital Festival (it was viewed in over 80 countries) means that in addition to a physical Festival 18-21 November, the event will now be available online via the Kendal Mountain Player, a new streaming platform giving adventure enthusiasts year-round access to films and extra content. The organisers are keen to thank the sponsorship partners who have stepped up to support this year’s event. In total there are 77 organisations supporting the Festival including Major Partners adidas Terrex, Berghaus, Buff, the Caravan & Motorhome Club, Danner Footwear, Montane, Patagonia, Rab, The North Face, Trek Bikes and Yeti. “The statement ‘We couldn’t do this without you’ is often trotted out but genuinely this is the case here, it’s a hugely important year for us and their level of engagement is so energising” says co-director Clive
