Jack Wolfskin returns to Kendal Mountain Festival

Jack Wolfskin will return as a partner sponsor to Kendal Mountain Festival later this month (November 16-19th).

As the pinnacle social event in the UK for outdoor industry and enthusiasts alike, Kendal Mountain Festival provides an unrivalled platform for Jack Wolfskin to continue its commitment to the UK outdoor community.

As a founding partner of the platform Jack Wolfskin, is pleased to again collaborate and present a programme of festival activity together.”

This year, in the festival basecamp, Jack Wolfskin will set up camp in a large interactive stand designed to educate guests on brand stories and technology innovations, introduce AW23 collection highlights and entertain with a curated programme of captivating short films from WaterBear.

Before all of this, Jack Wolfskin will launch its festival experience with a sunrise hike, where they will lead a group of media and friends of the brand into the Lake District to test out a selection of new products.

Jack Wolfskin will also host two festival sessions this year:

Friday 17th, Basecamp Stage – 3pm. Jack Wolfskin presents Country Walking Magazine and its Walk 1000 miles initiative. The session will dive into the goals, benefits and community, led by Country Walking Deputy Editor Nick Hallissey. The session will also contain footage from some of the incredible participants who are currently clocking up their 1000 miles on foot in 2023. The session is free of charge.

Saturday 18th, Brewery Arts Centre. Screen 2 – 1:30pm. Join Jack Wolfskin and WaterBear for the worldwide premiere of their latest production ‘Spirit of the Forest’. The focal point of a session that focuses on the importance of protecting and rewilding our shared natural spaces.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring WaterBear, Spirit of the Forest’ filmmaker Jamie Jones and Forestry England.

The session will also feature the screening of WaterBear original Serengeti of America, which explores the ‘what if’ of re-wilding and restoring the Great Plains of North America into the haven of biodiversity it once was. Tickets are now available from Kendal Mountain Festival Standard £8.50 | Under 18s £6.50.
