Kathmandu announced as sponsor for Kendal Mountain Festival

Taking place from the 21st – 24th November, Kathmandu will be establishing its UK presence at the festival with sponsorship of the Kendal Film and Book Festival.

Kathmandu, Australia and New Zealand’s number one outdoor brand, has been announced as a new sponsor of one of the world’s premier adventure festivals, Kendal Mountain Festival.

Taking place from the 21st – 24th November, Kathmandu will be establishing its UK presence at the festival with sponsorship of the Kendal Film and Book Festival.

Fully integrated into the programming of the festival, the Kendal Film and Book Festival focuses on nature, with featured books and speakers covering topics including walking lost paths in the UK and exploring bothies in the Scottish wilderness.

Two of the highest profile events will be taking place as part of the Film and Book Festival:

Music on Nature returns for the third year, and has quickly established itself as one of the festival’s top-selling events and will likely be a sell out this week.

Both events highlight individuals promoting a relationship with nature, tracing the connections between nature and sound, and exploring the landscapes through music, prose and poetry.

This year’s festival program is the largest ever, where over 200 live sessions including 300+ speakers, 190+ films, and 60+ activities will be engaging with over 25,000 adventure-seekers and outdoor enthusiasts.
