deuter backs Yr Wyddfa Snowdon clean-up project in North Wales with 2025 EOCA donation

deuter, a proud member of the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA), has announced that its 2025 EOCA donation will support a major clean-up initiative on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in North Wales. In collaboration with the British Mountaineering Council (BMC), Trash Free Trails, Plantlife, Eryri National Park and Snowdonia Society, deuter will help fund and participate in the removal of litter and single-use pollution from one of the UK’s most iconic mountain landscapes.

Partnership to Protect Wild Spaces
The Yr Wyddfa Clean-Up Project brings together leading UK conservation organisations to tackle the rising problem of trailside litter and single-use pollution on Snowdon’s slopes. deuter’s EOCA donation will fund crucial volunteer training, materials, and logistics for the clean-up.

The project is scheduled to take place over the first weekend in August 2025. A dedicated training day for volunteers will be held in late July to ensure everyone is equipped with the skills and safety knowledge needed to collect waste from high on the mountain, including difficult-to-reach areas such as Trinity Gullies.
