| The Visby bike pannier boasts clever functional details that make it a versatile piece of gear for everyday use as well as on longer cycle tours. Its wide roll-top opening makes it easy to use and can be buckled shut either in the centre or at the sides. The roll-top also allows the volume to be expanded by an extra 5 litres. This is useful for when you need more space for gear, luggage or shopping. Inside, there’s a separate valuables pocket and document compartment to keep your possessions well organised. Meanwhile, two D-rings and gear loops can be used to attach other gear to the outside of the bag. The Visby comes with the latest version of deuter’s BagFix quick-release system. This system attaches the bag precisely and securely to the bike rack. In fact, two hooks on the top mounting rail keep it in place. Furthermore, six spacers that come with it (8-10 / 10-12 / 12-14 mm) mean it can be adapted to fit a wide range of rack diameters. A curved hook on the bottom rail anchors the bag securely onto the bike rack bars. This prevents it from swaying around corners. The hard-wearing TPU material and radio frequency-welded seams keep contents dry on the move. The Visby meets IPX4 waterproof standards, so it will even perform in heavy rain. Its reinforced edges give it added durability, while reflective detailing offers improved visibility in low-light and traffic areas. A detachable shoulder strap means this bag is easy to carry from and to your bike (on either shoulder). |
