The North Face: Explore with Pride
To celebrate Pride month, The North Face has partnered with four organisations across Europe which focus on creating inclusivity and connection in the outdoors, through their work in the LGBTQ+ community.
The partnerships will celebrate the simple joy of the outdoors, with each organisation hosting a Pride hike in various locations across Europe, offering everyone a chance to sign up and join a hike to help foster even greater community.
In the UK, The North Face is working with OutdoorLads, who run a range of social outdoor activities for gay, bi and trans guys in the outdoors. In Germany, The North Face will be working with the Munich-based Gay Outdoor Club, in Italy ArciGay will join the campaign and in France Chamonix-based Le Gloss will also be bringing people together to experience nature.
The North Face believe exploration has the power to shape lives, connect communities and create meaningful change, that’s why alongside the pride hikes, The North Face is contributing €10,000 to each organisation to support their on-going work. With the funds aimed at increasing participation and organising additional events in the year ahead.
The campaign also sees the return of The North Face Pride collection, emblazoned with The North Face logo in the famous rainbow flag. The small capsule collection features the iconic Nuptse Jacket, Pullover hoodie and outline jacket alongside tees and shorts.
