New Heights Distribution appointed as UK sales agents to exclusively represent Xero Shoes in the UK and Ireland.

Xero Shoes launched in the USA in 2009 and is now one of the world’s leading natural movement footwear brands, with over 1.5 million customers in more than 97 countries.

New product development, strong messaging and high consumer satisfaction is fuelling rapid growth in the US, driven by phenomenal success at REI, and across multiple territories and retailers in central Europe and Scandinavia.

The UK is the next focus for business development in Europe and New Heights will be working closely with Xero Shoes European subsidiary located in Prague, Czech Republic.

New Heights Distribution will be looking after brand management and have recruited a team of sales agents that will be headed by industry stalwart Hugh Harris.

Sport Outdoor – is Hugh Harris’s new independent sales agency and is based in Kendal on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, and at the centre of the UK’s Outdoor Industry. Hugh is an industry veteran with time spent in outdoor retail, climbing wall management, the BMC, and experience in wholesale business with Lowe Alpine, Lyon Equipment, Mountain Works, and since 2009 in multiple sales management roles for Marmot in Europe.

New Heights Distribution – is headed by Kieron MacKenzie which was recently acquired by The Highlander Group. Kieron has over 35+ years in the outdoor industry and has worked in retail, brand management and wholesale distribution.   Throughout his working career, Kieron has managed to balance work with his passion for the outdoors and has been on many expeditions to the Himalaya and other great ranges.
