Local business Páramo sponsors Bewl Water Run Series whilst fundraising for Search Dogs Sussex
WADHURST outdoor clothing brand Páramo is sponsoring this month’s Bewl Water Run Series – while raising money for the volunteer charity Search Dogs Sussex.
The Páramo store on Wadhurst High Street is sponsoring the 2026 Bewl Water Run Series, organised by Hermes Running. The popular event is returning to Bewl Water on 12 September.
The partnership brings together two local businesses and a shared passion for getting people outdoors. In addition, runners travel from across the South East to take part in races around the reservoir.
As part of the sponsorship, Páramo is offering registered runners a 20% discount at its Wadhurst store when they visit and show proof of race entry. This offer runs from 12 September–12 October 2026.
The store is also using the event to raise funds for Search Dogs Sussex, a volunteer charity providing specialist search dog teams to Sussex Police around the clock. The teams help search for vulnerable and missing people across the county.
Raffle tickets cost £1 and are available now from the Páramo Wadhurst store. Prizes include a Páramo Fuera Windproof Smock worth £100, a Nikwax Outdoor Protection Kit, Darn Tough Vermont Socks and two places in the 2027 Bewl Water Run.

The Bewl Water Run Series has established itself as a popular fixture for trail runners and endurance athletes. The routes take in the reservoir, surrounding countryside, country lanes and woodland.
This year’s programme includes 10K, half marathon, marathon and 50km ultramarathon distances. Therefore, runners have a choice of challenges around the scenic Bewl Water setting.
