Keen Hyperport H2 Sandal scoops ISPO 2024 Award
Judging panel applauds KEEN’s commitment to producing “products that are as environmentally friendly as possible”
Hybrid, outdoor footwear innovators KEEN are stepping out for success, as their Hyperport H2 sandal celebrates being honoured with a prestigious ISPO award in the hotly contested 2024 industry gongs, announced this month.
The ISPO Award has established itself as one of the most prestigious prizes and as a seal of quality in the global sports industry. All submitted products and services are thoroughly scrutinised for quality, functionality, sustainability and technical innovation. The judging panel praised the ease of use and lightweight performance of the Hyperport H2 sandal, also commending KEEN’s underlining commitment to environmental sustainability in their production and processes.
Completely PFAS free, the Hyperport has been engineered for outdoor adventure. Featuring a maximal, air injected foam midsole giving incredible energy rebound, a lightweight construction provides a cushioned and agile experience, particularly applauded by the ISPO panel. Fully washable with a quick drying lining for active use and KEEN’s pesticide free Eco Anti Odor treatment, an engineered mesh upper has been given an extra stretch for comfort, making pulling on and off easy and convenient. A precise and secure fit is assured with a mesh heel-pull loop and KEEN’s quick fit one pull bungee lace system. An EVA insole with arch support ensures all day comfort, while a high traction, Aquagrip outsole utilises rubber only in the most demanding grip zones, stripping out unnecessary bulk and weight for a more agile feel. Consciously created in Cambodia, the Hyperport uses washable polyester webbing and non-marking multi-directional lugs for increased traction, ensuring performance without compromising environmental integrity.
