Ellis Brigham is donating to rough sleep charity Sleep Pod

Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports is donating one per cent of all tent sales between now and October 31 to Sleep Pod, the charity that provides warm and dry emergency shelters for rough sleepers in the UK and refuges throughout Europe.

Mark and Robert Brigham spent a day with the founder, Justin Devereux, learning more about the work of the charity and helping out on the practical side by building some of the Pods.

Mark said: “Like so many, we’ve been increasingly saddened by images of people forced from their homes due to war. And closer to home, we pass people on our local streets who have had to leave their homes due to social causes or family conflict.

“There are so many elements to address but at the most practical level, putting a warm and waterproof shelter over their heads is a first step.”
