Having the right light can make a world of difference during a run no matter if it’s a morning trail or a late-night sprint. Silva’s new Free 900 headlamp delivers a combination of true 900 lumen brightness and lightweight comfort so runners can keep their focus on the path ahead.
The latest headlamp in Silva’s modular Free series has been designed with runners in mind: featuring a new headband which is slim, and easily adjustable, as well as an integrated textile cord connection that reduces weight on the head. With most of the
rear cable resting in a backpack or running vest, you get a featherlight feel of just 70 g on your head, resulting in powerful performance that doesn’t compromise movement.
Available in two models that vary in battery size – the Free 900 XXS with a flat battery (191g incl. battery) and the Free 900 S (244g incl. battery) – the headlamp’s battery packs are designed to be tucked into a pocket or running vest, ensuring optimal weight distribution and comfort for longer runs.

Both versions feature Silva’s Intelligent Light technology, combining a long-reach spotlight with a wide floodlight for improved vision and balance. The lamp unit is equipped with Air Flow innovation for optimal cooling through speed wind and
convection. With a water-resistant design that meets IPX5 standards, the Free 900 is ready for unpredictable weather during a run in a city or on the trail. Plus, Silva’s
