“Every year, the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy is one of my absolute highlights for mountaineering. As an athlete, I am delighted to run the ‘Mountaineering Progression Clinic’, which has been a great success in past years. I’m always excited to take in the film premieres about inspiring people … and attendance at the after-show party is mandatory. As with every year, I am looking forward to this gathering of the climbing community,” said Ines Papert, Arc’teryx Athlete.
This year the academy will be home to not just 80+ clinics, but also a fully stacked program of events throughout the weekend, including film premieres, concerts and activities throughout the famous Arc’teryx academy village.
There’s loads of clinic disciplines to choose from including:
– Mountaineering
– Climbing
– Photography
– Leave it Better
– Trekking

Get your dancing shoes on – The Music lineup for this year’s Arc’teryx Alpine Academy has just been announced!
From the mountain to the dancefloor, the rhythm of the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. From July 4-6, join us for 3 free nights of live music, concerts, DJ sets, and club tracks across 3 venues – right in the heart of Chamonix.
– The Blessed Madonna – Managing to earn respect in the testosterone-charged electro scene is no mean feat. However, it seems that Marea Stamper, aka The Blessed Madonna, no longer has anything to prove to her male counterparts.
– Breakbot & Irfane – Thibaut Berland aka Breakbot is a French electro/funk producer and DJ from the Paris-based Ed Banger Records label and started off on his own. He began to collaborate with singer Irfane after they met at a party. Their breakthrough happened with “Baby I’m Yours” in 2010.
– Lewis Ofman – From his first forays into musical composition on Garageband aged 11, Lewis OfMan has always been drawn to party music, the kind that resounds in the distance when the sun is only just starting to sink. The multi-instrumentalist’s music creates an atmosphere where melancholia meets elevation and joy.
– Lava La Rue – Lava La Rue, west London rapper and singer is a jack of all trades; Under their belt at the age of 20, they’ve set to continue making a positive impact on the UK art scene.
