For the first time, the premium backpack brand becomes an official Major Partner
Premium backpack brand deuter has been announced as an official Major Partner of Kendal Mountain Festival 2025. This partnership brings an action-packed schedule of events, discussions, and product showcases to the festival’s line-up. Following the recent unveiling of the revised Attack backpack, set for release in Spring/Summer 2026, deuter will sponsor the festival’s popular ‘Bike Night’. The partnership aims to communicate deuter’s commitment to adventure and sustainability with the UK outdoor community. Moreover, these values will be discussed during the Basecamp sessions held on the deuter Bothy stage.
The festival features several highlights from some of deuter’s leading ambassadors, including film screenings and panel discussions. Kathryn Roberts discusses her life as a female mountaineer and her summit of Mont Blanc. Meanwhile, Hannah Mitchell and Samantha Jagger then discuss the challenges of being a female mountaineer, focusing on their expedition to Tajikistan. Finally, for 2025, deuter will sponsor the festival’s popular ‘Bike Night,’ featuring an on-stage interview with professional mountain biker Rachel Atherton.
The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA), British Mountaineering Council (BMC) and Trash Free Trails will also hold a panel discussion on the deuter Bothy stage. They will discuss adventure leading to activism.
