Jack Wolfskin partners with Country Walking Magazine and its Walk 1000 Miles Campaign

Jack Wolfskin, the German-based outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment company, is supporting the Walk 1000 Miles campaign in 2023 – Britain’s biggest self-improvement movement.

The free and accessible to all initiative, devised to encourage better physical and mental health, is run by Country Walking Magazine, part of the Bauer media group and the UK’s biggest-selling magazine publisher. 

Each year approximately forty thousand of its dedicated readers pledge to join the challenge of walking 1000 miles in the calendar year – and yes, believe it or not, that’s more than achievable. In fact, did you know it takes less than an hour a day’s walking to hit 1000 miles in 12 months? And it’s worth every step, as previous participants will testify: 72% of participants say they suffer fewer minor ailments; 74% that they feel more body-confident; 92% that they’re far more optimistic for their long-term health as a result, 96% that it has significantly changed their life for the better, 99.6% that it’s suitable for all levels of fitness.
