Altra x and wander collaboration reimagines the Lone Peak 9+

and wander and Altra come together once again for Autumn/Winter 2025, merging street-savvy style with mountain-ready performance in a new collaborative release that deepens the relationship between these two brands rooted in movement and exploration.

This limited-edition release reimagines Altra’s most classic trail model, the Lone Peak, combining its technical foundation with and wander’s alpine-inspired aesthetic. This marks the first-ever collaboration on the Lone Peak, Altra’s best-selling silhouette. This special edition speaks to a new generation of consumers who move fluidly between performance, fashion, and the outdoors.

The Altra × and wander Lone Peak 9+ features original graphic overlays created by and wander, layered atop Altra’s time-tested silhouette and augmented with Vibram® Megagrip for sure-footed traction on rugged terrain. This marks the first time a graphic has been applied to the Lone Peak, setting a new precedent for the brand’s creative evolution. Each pair is finished in custom colour palettes and patterns that echo alpine environments.

Altra is renowned for its natural movement philosophy, designing footwear that supports both performance and longevity in running. Altra’s signature FootShape™ Fit allows toes to splay unrestricted, and the Zero Drop™ platform of the Lone Peak maintains an even stack height from heel to forefoot. Together, the two components improve foot mobility and reinforce natural biomechanics.

The Altra × and wander Lone Peak 9+ launches globally on August 19, 2025 (JST). The shoe retails for $185 and will be available in two unisex colourways—orange and black—through Altra e-commerce platforms in the US and Europe, the Altra brand store in Japan, and wander’s online store, and wander retail stores in Japan, and through a curated selection of retail partners worldwide.
