New INOV8 store opens in Sheffield
Pioneering sports brand INOV8 has chosen Sheffield for its first UK city-based store.
INOV8 Sheffield opened in Dyson Place, off Sharrow Vale Road, on February 1, creating five new jobs.
The store sells INOV8 branded shoes, clothing and equipment for runners, hikers and gym enthusiasts. There is also an in-store coffee shop, providing a base for a wide range of activities, including social runs, yoga glasses, film screenings and guest speaker events.
To celebrate the opening, a social group run was organised from the store on Sunday (February 4), with all invited. Meeting at 10am, the group ran the newly-devised ‘Sharrow Trail’ route – a 15km loop of Sheffield’s best urban trails. Coffee and light snacks were served afterwards.
INOV8’s record-breaking trail runner Jack Scott joined the social group run, giving those in attendance the chance to gain tips and advice from one of the best in the business.
Earlier this month, Scott won the 268-mile Spine Race ultramarathon along the Pennine Way, from Edale, Derbyshire, to Kirk Yetholm, in the Scottish Borders. He did so in 72hrs 55mins, breaking the course record by 10 hours.
Founded 21 years ago, INOV8 is based in the Lake District and trades in more than 50 countries worldwide. Sheffield is its first city store, coming three months after the brand opened retail doors in the popular tourist town of Bakewell, Peak District.
Prior to that INOV8 opened UK stores in Staveley, Lake District, next to its headquarters, in 2021 and Crook, County Durham, next to its warehouse, in March last year.

“We hope people will use the store not just as a shop, but also as a gathering place before and after runs, hikes and gym sessions. All are welcome and excellent coffee awaits.”
The INOV8 Sheffield store is open seven days a week (9am-5pm, with shorter hours of 10am-4pm on Sundays). It can be reached by using the postcode S11 8XX.
