Registration opens for events at the first European Outdoor Week

Registration has opened for events at the inaugural European Outdoor Week (EOW) in 2026. Through a partnership between the European Outdoor Group (EOG) and the MagNet group, EOW will run from 14-19 May, in Riva del Garda in Italy. It will incorporate the Outdoor and Outdoor & Running Business Days trade shows, the Outdoor Impact Summit, EOG Assembly, European Outdoor Awards, and Activation Days. By combining the events into one focused week, the EOG and MagNet have responded to the industry’s demand for fewer calendar commitments. This approach promises more effective gatherings that optimise costs and resources. Outdoor businesses can now contact the booking team at MagNet to explore the best options available for getting involved in EOW.
Unveiled in September, the new European Outdoor Week is a forward-looking platform. It aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth across the European and international outdoor sectors. The EOG and MagNet have teamed up to build a model accessible for all organisations operating in the industry. There are incentives and accessible prices for both exhibitors and visitors.
The first European Outdoor Week will start with the second edition of the Outdoor Impact Summit, from 14-15 May. After its successful debut this year, the summit will bring together the outdoor industry and other stakeholders. The purpose is to explore practical approaches to sustainability, corporate responsibility, and community engagement. The event will focus on the theme of ‘No Excuses’. It will feature expert speakers who will share experiences, case studies, and visions for the future of sustainability in the outdoor sector.
On 16 May, the EOG will host an assembly for representatives from its membership of around 150. There will be updates on the association’s key projects. Additionally, discussions about plans for the year ahead will take place. This will be followed by a brand new format for the European Outdoor Awards, celebrating innovation and best practice in the sector. The awards ceremony will be part of a special evening networking event.
After a pause in 2025, the Outdoor trade show will return with a refreshed format from 17-19 May. It will take place alongside Outdoor & Running Business Days. The relaunch of Outdoor marks the beginning of a new chapter for the European outdoor community. The goal is to build a true hub for connection, innovation, and collaboration in a unique international setting. It will bring together companies, professionals, and enthusiasts. The EOG and MagNet have introduced an all-inclusive pricing model for exhibitors. This includes no hidden costs, with a straightforward and flexible booking process. The model includes significant discounts for EOG members. There will be free admission to the shows for all visitors, and retailers will be able to access free accommodation.
The final element of EOW will be the Activation Days, from 16-19 May. This will be an opportunity to test gear in the area around Riva del Garda. The EOG and MagNet are working with local organisations. They aim to host trail running, trekking, climbing, and biking activities. These activities will allow brands to connect with key trade and consumer communities. They will also showcase their products and services.
Christian Schneidermeier, EOG director, comments: “This is a really exciting moment for the outdoor sector. We received a very positive response to the launch of European Outdoor Week. We have since been adding more detail and value to our plans. We are working closely with the team at MagNet. We’ve had a laser focus on building a programme that will deliver deep engagement, dynamism, relevance and of course, outstanding value for money. That is what we are now able to present in detail to every part of our industry. I urge colleagues to engage and get involved. There really are ‘No Excuses’ to not attend. European Outdoor Week is going to be an essential event on what is now a compelling calendar. We’re very much looking forward to bringing the outdoor community together next May in Riva del Garda.”
