OTS 2025 Awards announced

This year’s winners of the Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) Outdoor Retailer of the Year Awards, and the finalists of the 2026 UK Outdoor Industry Awards, have been announced in presentations at the 2025 Outdoor Trade Show Social.

 

The Outdoor Retailer of the Year awards, now in their second year, celebrate and recognise the best outdoor retailers in eleven different categories: National Outdoor Retailer, Online Retailer, Multi-Sited Retailer, Independent Retailer – North-East / North-West / South / Central / Ireland / Scotland / Wales, and UK Independent Retailer. The winners were nominated and voted for exclusively by OTS exhibitors.

 

The winners in each category are:

 

National Outdoor Retailer of the Year Ellis Brigham Online Outdoor Retailer of the Year SportsShoes.com Multi-sited Outdoor Retailer of the Year The Climbers Shop and Joe Brown Shops Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year – North East LD Mountain Centre Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year – North West The Epicentre Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year – South Lockwoods Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year – Central Outside Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year – Ireland Basecamp Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year – Scotland Craigdon Mountain Sports Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year – Wales Crib Goch Outdoor UK Independent Retailer of the Year Outside

The finalists for the 2026 UK Outdoor Industry Awards were also announced.

The prestigious list of judges comprised: Erika Culenova, Buyer, The Epicentre, Iain Duff, Editor, Camping and Campervan, Elizabeth Hunter, Buyer, Tiso, David Lintern, Commissioning Editor, TGO, Jon Mayo, Operations Director, Taunton Leisure, Emily Russell, Owner, The Outdoor Depot, James Turnbull, Director, Outside, and Rosee Woodland, Editor, Advnture.

The finalists will be put forward to an consumers’ vote online, from November 2025 to February 2026, with winners announced at the OIA Conference in March 2026.
