dryrobe x USA Surfing partnership fuels the stoke & skill of American surfing

USA Surfing has announced a partnership with dryrobe – the original, outdoor change robe brand that keeps surfers warm, dry and protected from the elements pre, post, and in between surf sessions.

The support from dryrobe extends across USA Surfing’s entire wave riding community and all its national teams, including its para surf, junior, SUP and longboard teams. As part of the partnership, dryrobe will provide each respective team with products, as well as funding to help USA Surfing deliver more training sessions throughout the year.

Most recently, dryrobe has worked closely with the para-sports community to develop the dryrobe Adapt, a product that is adaptable enough to be used by all athletes, including wheelchair users.

USA Surfing executive director Becky Fleischauer Jewell said about the partnership: “We thank dryrobe enormously for giving back to the surfing community and taking a genuine interest in how our surfers train and what they need to be successful in and out of the water. We are grateful to dryrobe for supporting the country’s most promising surfers as they train and compete to represent their country on the world stage.”

“We are delighted to be working with USA Surfing,” said Gideon Bright, founder and CEO of dryrobe. “Our roots with surfing run deep as dryrobe® was originally designed for surfers, which is why the partnership with USA Surfing holds great significance for us. With the Olympic Games fast approaching and future Paralympic hopes, it’s a truly exciting time for us to join forces.”

USA Surfing’s performance program continues to develop with a series of “Power Your Performance” clinics aimed at developing the mind, body and movement of surf athletes to help them perform better and have more fun.

USA Surfing athletes have a strong track record on the world stage winning world team titles, plus individual medals at the ISA World Championship events in all disciplines. This year, there are a record number of American surfers qualified to compete on the World Surf League’s Championship Tour and Challenger Series. Carissa Moore is the standout surfer from the USA team, having won the country’s first surfing Olympic gold medal in 2020, and will be returning to defend her crown at this summer’s Olympic Games.

The partnership with dryrobe will be particularly valuable for USA Surfing SUP athletes, who will be competing at the 2024 ISA World Stand Up Paddleboard Championships in Copenhagen. USA Surfing SUP athletes previously won double gold medals in the race events at the Pan Am Games, and continue to push performances to new heights.

dryrobe will also join USA Surfing’s national event series as a sponsor and provide prizes for the 2024 national championships, whilst also offering all USA Surfing members with an exclusive membership benefit.

With surfing being the fastest growing water sport and a strong part of current and future Olympic Games’, USA Surfing looks forward to a long-term partnership with dryrobe that fuels the stoke and skills that make our sport and lifestyle so rewarding.
