Fjällräven Polar 2024 – join the adventure of a lifetime

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things – it’s a tale as old as time. David and Goliath stories pull us into a journey of an everyday person achieving the unimaginable. For 18 years, this is how Fjällräven Polar alumni have recounted their experience of a unique five-day expedition across the Scandinavian Arctic. One that took them to their physical and mental limits.

Every year, each participant chosen to join the expedition team has their personal reasons for applying. For Nooshin Hamzehloo, an Iranian-born tax auditor based in Stockholm, Fjällräven Polar 2023 was her way of celebrating life so far. She would finish the 300km journey on her 60th birthday, and in so doing, make a statement to the world (and herself) that the best is yet to come.

But a single vision unites every Fjällräven Polar participant: to dive headfirst into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to truly test themselves and discover what it means to become an Arctic explorer.

What is Fjällräven Polar?

In April 2024, Fjällräven Polar will bring together 20 people from across the globe for a 300km dog sledding expedition across Scandinavia’s Arctic tundra. For five days, participants will drive their own dog sled across vast frozen landscapes, experiencing a world completely different from their own.

Now in its 19th year, Fjällräven Polar offers a way into winter outdoor life for people who want more wilderness in their lives. Following Fjällräven’s mission to inspire people to spend more time in nature, this expedition proves that with the right equipment and the right knowledge, anyone can enjoy nature in Arctic conditions, regardless of previous outdoor experience.

Fjällräven is inviting curious individuals to apply for this adventure of a lifetime.
