The Scottish outdoor clothing brand, Keela Outdoors, has partnered with the Lancashire-based fabric expert, British Millerain, to launch its limited edition, sustainable jacket, the Rothes Smock.
Made at Keela’s manufacturing facility in Fife, the Rothes Smock utilises textiles from British Millerian who has specialised in materials for outdoor wear for over six generations.
It also forms part of Keela’s ‘Legacy Project’, giving a second chance to garments – the Rothes uses end-of-the-line fabric from British Millerain’s mill, giving it a limited run of 160 pieces with each being individually labelled.
Sam Fernando, Sales Director for Keela, said: “We’re so excited to be able to launch the Rothes Smock and work with a brand like British Millerain to create such a special piece of kit.
“Manufacturing here in the UK is a vital part of what we do, and a piece like the Rothes epitomises what our team of experts can do right here without needing to go elsewhere.”
