Topo Athletic Continues Innovation with eVent Fabrics
Adopts eVent’s stormST for New Phantom 4 WP Road Shoe
Introduced in September 2025, Topo Athletic’s Phantom 4 WP joins a growing collection of Topo shoes using eVent’s plant-based, PFAS-free laminate
eVent® Fabrics, a global leader in breathable waterproof, weatherproof, and windproof fabric technologies. They are doubling down on a partnership with Topo Athletic by supplying the plant-based stormST waterproof/breathable laminate for the new Phantom 4 WP road shoe.
Hitting the market in Fall 2025, the Phantom 4 WP joins other notable Topo shoes. These include the Terraventure 4 WP and Trailventure 2 WP. This growing collection will all feature eVent’s plant-based, PFAS-free stormST waterproof/breathable laminate.

Using no PFAS chemicals in its production, stormST delivers the reliable, breathable waterproof protection expected from eVent. It keeps users comfortable in wet or snowy conditions. This sustainable fabric technology helps minimize the carbon footprint of any product using it. It does all this without compromising performance.
