With more of us working in hybrid mode and commuting to the office less, it makes sense to have a coat which can easily be used across different situations. The simple lines and subtle detailing of this chic, mid-length, coat mean it’s perfect for the work commute, coupled with the features needed to cope with an active outdoor life.

I chose the Dark Charcoal Heather option, which is reminiscent of textured wool coats but in a more practical lightweight option with water and windproofing. A removable hood and storm flap on the front adds to its British weather proofing ability.

The inside zipped chest pocket is a good size for your phone and, like the hip pockets, has an added benefit of a fabric zip pull which will make it easier to use when you’re wearing gloves in the colder months.
