Berghaus partner with Tiso to host a first of its kind outdoor festival
The Tiso Glasgow Outdoor Experience store is putting on a first of its kind mini-festival of talks, films, food and drink with special guest Leo Houlding.
The event, to be held on January 26 between 6- 9.30pm, will welcome one of the world’s best climbers to Glasgow, Houlding, and play host to a screening of Berghaus’ new short film series that promotes new standards of inclusivity in the outdoors.
Taking place on a dedicated festival site that will occupy the store’s main car park. The one-night only 100-person capacity event will see two weatherproof stretch tents covering a cinema screen, theatre seating, picnic benches and heaters.
Alongside separate food and drink trucks, games and a product showcase dedicated to the new Berghaus Extrem collection. A pinnacle range of clothing built for Scottish Winter climbing and mountaineering – launched this winter and available in store.
The evening will begin with a screening of Berghaus’ new Ascension Series. Pressing play on Episode One titled after the short films’ leading character – Glasgow based climber, photographer and environmentalist Adam Raja. This will be followed by a headline speaker session from Berghaus Ambassador Leo Houlding that will bring the best of his new novel ‘Closer To The Edge’ to life.
