As a complementary range for the brand’s outdoor adventure clothing, Craghoppers has launched sustainably sourced camping equipment using recycled materials and the Craghoppers Archive branding to give that extra retro feel.
The hero product in this range is the classically styled Kiwi 4 man tent which is made from the classic Kiwi polycotton fabric with anti-insect NosiDefence technology and a naturally sourced EcoShield DWR finish. The cotton is BCI cotton and the Polyester is 100% recycled and approximately 235 bottles were recycled to make the tent. It’s also easy to pitch, making it the perfect sustainable option for family holidays at home or abroad.
To complete the camping offering are two sleeping bags and two chairs, all with sustainable creds. The sleeping bags feature recycled Expolite mini ripstop outers with EcoShield DWR, ThermoPro insulation, zip tapes and pullers. The addition of the NosiLife vented foot well provides defence against biting insects whilst allowing air to circulate. The Nosi Eco comes in 100 and 250 weight.
For the chairs, there is a low profile reclining chair with a height of 40cm that fold away in a bag and a low profile folding chair with a height of 27cm which folds down flat. Both are made from recycled materials.
