Sigg Miracle Travel Mug 0.47L

The Sigg Miracle Travel Mug 0.47L is a decent travel mug is a must-have for those who are always on the go. Not having to stop for a drink saves you time and money, and it cuts down on paper and plastic waste.

This is the 3rd Sigg product I’ve used now, and they are one of my favourite brands. I’ve used a couple of their high quality water bottles, so I thought I’d try this travel mug, in the very nice brushed stainless option. It weighs 265 grams, which is nice & light.

The Miracle Mug is odourless, recyclable, and all materials used are free of harmful substances. It is also double-wall insulated, which keeps your drink hot or cold for hours. I had some coffee left in the bottom after my last wild camping trip, and it was still warm by the time I emptied it that evening! It can also be fully taken apart, allowing for proper cleaning.

The mug is equipped with a secure lock button, which can be locked and unlocked with one hand. Once unlocked, press the button on the side and drink – it’s that simple to use. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the lid is completely leakproof. No liquid escaped, even after I shook it upside down. It’s rare to find a mug with a lid as convenient as this one, that is also safe to throw in a bag or backpack. It’s excellent for hiking, and because it fits in cupholders, it’s handy for commuters, too.

Overall, it’s a very durable travel mug, that I could actually drink from without spilling half of it down my front. I’ll be using this a lot more on those camping trips, or even just in the van on my morning commute to work!
