Key Chain Carry – Well made and will connect to your keyring easily using the lanyard provided.
EDC Pocket Carry – I carry it in my trouser pocket all the time and find it does not take any room and with no sharp edge does not damage my trousers and is free to hand for night time elimination or to hunt around under the work deck for the keys I dropped behind the backing as normal.
Outdoor (Wild Camping) -Used the Fenix E12 V3 when we last went camping and did some kit testing at the same time. Use the E12 as the lamp for when in my hammock and with the three level settings it was prefect to read a book or to just provide enough light while you are getting ready to slept.
Emergency Backup everyday carry – The E12 V3.0 is capable of shining up to 78 metres on the highest setting making the torch a superb companion for tradesmen, campers, EDC and emergency signalling if needed.
The all in one ON/OFF and settings button is a easy to use and a effective method of switching the E12 V3 on and off and means to cycle thought the setting. Note: the last used output will be memorised thanks to the intelligent memory function
The 200 lumens output provides the perfect amount of light for anything you will use it for without blinding everyone near you.

The E12 V3.0 includes a two way pocket clip to allow it to be clicked to a backpack, clothing or hat. Also it is great that it has a the magnetic base which is great for working on your car etc.
The build quality of the E12 V3 is excellent and is lade of high-strength aluminum with a IP68 waterproof rating. This means it can be submerged in water up to 2 meters deep for 30 minutes.
Using a single AA battery makes it is easy replace the battery with minimal costs. But you can also used a rechargeable battery if you want too as well. I like it because i can purchase a new battery on the high street, in a supermarket or corner shop.
A small aside, when opening the torch for testing i find the packaging to be great but a little over the top. It will never be damaged in transits but you will need to make sure that your are good at puzzles to remove the torch from the packaging.
The Fenix E12 V3 is a well made and compact package. When you need a dependable torch for any situations you cannot go wrong with the Fenix E12 V3. We would recommend it all day long. And note it is still in my pocket every day since we tested it so i think that tells you every you need to know.
