EINSTEIN™ 1500 FLEX | RECHARGEABLE

Living in the countryside with very few pavements, no street lighting, a lot of fields and a dog, I need a head torch that illuminates the roads, makes me visible to traffic and helps me navigate the trails. Is the Einstein 1500 the solution? I think it could be!

As far as the fit goes, the headtorch strap is comfortable, fits well and is easy to adjust. The strap over the top of the head provides extra security, especially as the whole headtorch is quite sturdy and robust. Being able to plug directly in to the battery provided to charge is a great extra feature as well.

To give this headtorch a proper test, I used it in as many different places as possible from the roads and trails in the countryside, around town at the end of work and in the alps to find my way up and down the hill from my chalet of an evening. While walking, it dealt with every scenario pretty well.

The wide angle coverage of light made it easy to see everything directly in front of me and it meant any traffic could see me without blinding the driver. When running, especially on the trails, at 1500 lumens in full turbo mode it was bright enough. The high setting of 750 is perfect in more urban environments and when you don’t necessarily need to navigate across uneven terrain.

All in all, the Einstein 1500 Flex headtorch is at a great price compared to the competition and offers good value for money.
